As a follower of Yeshua, I know we are to love the sinner and not the sin. Most consider it loving to encourage their mental confusion. I believe that loving is to tactfully offer information where they can get help for dealing with their confusion and what i believe is their self hatred. Something, possibly childhood sexual abuse, led them down this path. They are desperately seeking love and approval IMHO.
I believe we love them by not leading them into hell. Both the Tanakh and the Christian Bible state this behavior is forbidden, an abomination. I heard a saying that stuck with me. I believe it was Coach Dave Daubenmire who said: The truth sounds like hate to those who hate the truth.
I pray for them and hope they can get the help they need and the peace they seek. However, Christians better find a backbone and stand up, with their voices and votes, before we are forbidden to do either.
Also, as a former Catholic, who joined the Right to Life movement when it was first formed, I can assure you JB is no Catholic in the traditional sense of the word.
