Our Homily on Sunday was about knocking back the beast (ok, it seemed that way!).
The story was of our new Lord and Savior, the King of the world. He came to save us from the darkness that entered after "the fall". Sin came in and it grew terrible.
But with this small baby boy, so and helpless, it appeared, it wasn't a big face to face battle, but a baby who came in to provide a way out for God loving/fearing people. Who would have thunk a small, helpless looking babe would come to save the world?
Now, what gives me a bigger smile is that I had prayed for some direction in how to move forward in getting the truth out.
So, in little ways...they expect a big ole battle!
