If I were Karen's brother the first thing I would have done is to get on a plane and to Playa Del Carmen. Nothing would have held me back. I'm not throwing blame at her brother, but I have siblings and I know if one of them was in the kind of danger Karen described, I would go. Even if I didn't buy the CIA/Malone story and thought she was having a mental breakdown, I would go. There is no way I'd trust a thorough investigation was being done without someone there as her advocate. Asking questions and staying on top of the case. Especially under the circumstances. I'm not getting this...It doesn't make sense to me.

Any form of communication, unless outdoors in person, far from anything but nature, can be traced. If someone fears being tracked down, the safest thing is to avoid communicating with anyone. And that includes getting someone else to pass on your message, as they, too, can be tracked and followed... right back to you.

So then, who filed the missing person's report on Karen?
Didn't she tell her family etc that she was going off line for a while?
The whole thing confuses me. It must have been hell for her family.
a) I don't know, but someone who had reason to fear for her.
b) She may not have had time/a safe opportunity.
She must have thought that was the safest way to proceed.
I haven't seen anything from Stew Peters about this., nor Dr Ana Milhacea.
