My brother-in-law, who was highly successful in his field and had amassed a fortune in the tens of millions from nothing, committed suicide at the height of his success in his early forties.
However, as with anything in life, the rich have more options. Perhaps Bryan Johnson is a good example of how the rich can indulge their doubts and insecurities instead of overcoming them.
Isn’t it thought that those at the top of the pyramid (royalty?) can in effect already achieve immortality through “The Black Rite,” which allows them to short-circuit the reincarnation process and be re-born nine months after they die?
Regardless of that, “people” like Musk, Gates and Bezos are different. They are servants of the gods intent on syphoning souls into The Eighth Sphere described by Rudolf Steiner and others. What they are really doing is laying the breadcrumb trail of “online,” augmented/virtual reality, chips and trans humanism into the trap which has been set for humanity, a fork in the road: humans one way, former humans the other. As for the Chinese Communist Party, I think their methods are loathsome and anti-human; but, if my family were one of the hundreds of millions taken out of grinding rural poverty by the Party over the last forty-five years and I now lived in a smart brand-new, air-conditioned apartment in a modern city with infrastructure of which most Americans can't even dream, I think I could be forgiven for embracing the Party like most Chinese do. This is a very interesting topic in that it truly exposes man's abysmal foolishness and denial of critical thinking. The laws of the Universe absolutely prohibit the origination of something (matter or energy) from nothing. Therefore man proposes that something must have always existed, and have gone through imagined transformations to generate the Universe. But this goes against the law of Entropy, which states that everything goes toward decay, not complexity, from organization to chaos, not the reverse. Since things don't come from nothing and matter does not produce more matter, that which is material had to be generated from something that is non material. This non material power is what we call Deity. This Deity created the astoundingly complex organ, called the brain, and now man hopes to manipulate it, hybridize it and achieve eternal life on this earth, which is scheduled for extinction by the very one who made it. The arrogance and willful self deception of humanity is quite astounding. But on we go, choosing wishful thinking rather than questioning everything that our fellow man concocts, in his greedy effort to be a god.

They probably pay their surrogate mothers the same pittance, even though the whole surrogacy program is expensive. The people who provide the blood and babies might as well be cattle. I'm sure they have a plan to take the raw materials without compensation.
