I've read that figure but it wasnt just anti-depressants but Big Pharma drugs of all sorts........Our poor citizens are in some kind of daze most of their waking hours. I count myself lucky not to be but maybe at one time I might've been. Fortunately some 30 yrs ago I started waking up to the use of some vitamins (B-complex in particular) and some kind of daily exercise, plus being a little more choosy about what I eat........its paid off but its a daily effort.
Trying to escape seed oils and high fructose corn syrup is almost impossible.
Keep in mind there are good "seed oils"....you just have to discriminate between one's that are hydrogenated, not organic and GMO. I still use "seed oils" but i buy the purest kind from Whole Foods or online because stores dont carry the safer oils anymore....also I think good quality Olive Oil is still safe. Stay away from Canola oil and most of the oils on a supermarket shelf. I've read that canola oil is very similar to plastic in its chemical configuration My chemistry is a little jaded so I might be wrong on the molecular description. Fast food places too use a lot of hydrogenated fats to cook their fries, donuts etc....ALL the things we love to eat LOL
Make sure you take at least Vit E (natural, not synthetic) 2-3 times a week and some selenium. These will help corral the free radicals you might be getting from the processed (for longer shelf life) oils.
Coconut oil is the only unprocessed oil. Never goes bad either. But still use sparingly, high in fat.
Where do you get natural vit e? Thank you!
Natural Vit E is shown on the label as d-alpha tocopheral. Synthetic has an "l" after the d as in dl-alpha tocopheral. The cheaper the Vit E, the less likely its from natural sources and not derived from COAL TAR (like synthetic Vit C). Good quality vitamins are more expensive but after years of using 'supplements' i've learned the extra cost is worth it. Life Extension supposedly makes an all natural B and there are a couple more.....To get truly natural B-Complex, you can try BREWERS YEAST (not Torula or Nutritional Yeast). The stuff tastes bad but you can mix a tablespoon in a good tasting juice to get it down but its still not like eating chocolate ice cream 🤔.BUT after you experience the real B, you'll know the difference. Your body will have to adjust at first to BREWERS yeast so be advised to some of those side effects until you learn how to use it. Once a week is usually enough but everyone is different so you're the lab rat for awhile. This website may be of use: https://www.findthisbest.com/best-vitamin-b-complex-supplements/natural
Can you elaborate on the ' side effects' of brewers yeast a bit?
If your GI tract isnt up to snuff, you'll get some flatulence or gas. It comes from having that part of your digestive tract clogged with junk over the years and the bioflora environment has to adjust. It doesnt last and you don't experience it after every use but initially its a little obnoxious. you need to know that in case you try some and then go out somewhere socially...your body will need time to adjust....similar to when you ate yogurt for the first time....if youve been a junk food eater most of your life, they'll be an adjustment period
Wow. Great comment and thank you ever so much!!😀
One more thing Nobody from another Nobody like me, don't take B before bed, it can be energizing and will make sleep hopeless...Another way I've found to get B is liquid sublingual formulas where you take drops under the tongue for about 30 sec.....Its been a life long learning experience but my efforts have paid off with way less sickness/flu/colds etc and more energy to LIVE better
Not too hard just don't eat processed foods.
Can u recommend a good B vitamin? 😊
