Dr. Breggin, I first knew of you from Truthstream Media, Melissa and Aaron's film, "The Minds of Men", a current assessment of where we are as the human race. I deeply respect their work, so your perspective immediately became a (new?) cornerstone in my understanding of us humans. And in recent years, my respect for you, Ginger Breggin, was born, and grew in the deep work you have devoted to the good of all of us during this global event.
So the evident pairing of your work here in substack, having informed, uplifted, wakened, and I imagine many other responses, has resulted in you all becoming the wise elders many of us, even elders such as myself, turn to for that most basic essential need we all have : the voice of wisdom. The voice of experience and wisdom, love and compassion, which you have come to represent in a very real way for me.

I have to admit I've really enjoyed your post, and I'll probably miss them when they go behind a paywall like so many others I used to enjoy. But with an income of $311.00 a month to survive on, Medical and Legal are off the menu for me. Love you both anyway, and hope things work out for you, I've been relegated to the dust bins of history, and am just another statistic at this point.
I am so delighted to hear that you are taking on new clients!! Overjoyed!! I am trying to persuade a friend to reach out, as well as her young son so they can both reclaim their lives. The only cause of their apparent brain dysfunction are the brain disabling psychotropic drugs they are taking. As you point out in, Your Drug may be your Problem, the apathy and emotional blunting which look like depression, and the agitation which looks like mania, are due to drug induced TD. Problem is getting husband on board to trust the tapering process. Your post is so informative. Please can you also talk about the overwhelming evidence that people off psych drugs have 70% recovery rate, compared to just 5% on drugs. (Harrow) And people do recover naturally with time ..... if one would have patience and trust ..... Problem is the drugs prevent full recovery and make things chronic .

We all have a lawful right to sell our time and labor to those who are willing to pay us, but there is another consideration, which Dr. Peter and Ginger bring to the table which I perceive as "a labor of love". When I was deceived into doing the Devils bidding, money was not an object for me as long as I was able to deceive myself into believing I had no conscience. But by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, he found me even though like Jonah I tried to run away from his calling. Knowing I am only a pilgrim and a sojourner here, and having paid a high personal cost for my faith in the Lord battling the Devil through prayer and fasting has taught me to be contented in whatever state I find myself. The one who has numbered the hairs on our head places a greater value on one honest man, than many crowned ruffians (borrowing from Thomas Paine).

(Mathew 22:35-40) "For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. (1st Timothy 1:7). Jesus Christ is my hero, my king, my lawgiver, my judge, and most importantly, my example of not only loving my neighbors whoever they are, but my enemies who will steal, kill and destroy me for Mammons sake. I am grateful to God that they are not my example, and I am not theirs, Jesus lived what he preached by doing the will of our Father in heaven. He is and should be our first priority, and loving our neighbors enough to warn them about the coming wrath of God, which is not to be compared vainly to the wrath of men. As a man who has learned to fear God, and hate and eschew evil, I have also witnessed and continue to witness many evils done to myself and others, but I refuse to allow myself to be overcome with evil. I think for you love has a different meaning than for me, when a person's life is value by the money, or power love does not exist.. When money is much more important that a human life, there is little left of human, it has no sense to call love to business, our union to G-d cannot be by fear, yes by love, your understanding of G_d means you are a, slave G-d gave us free will that we could grow up, that we can understand slavery has no space in his creation because after all, when we put money before love we are denying the same G-d existence, and his teachings, and of many of those that came to Earth in his behalf.. G_D cannot be what you describe, what you describe is a twisted version of G_d invented by humans to control people by fear if are not obedient to other humans, has nothing to do with G_d otherwise we would not exist. You need to be able to discern where is the true and what has been distorted, religions leaders have twisted the true, and use it to kill in G_d's name all of them..

Love has no fear! We cannot stop misbehave because we are scare of punishment! Only unmaturity in the soul, or ignorance can fear G-d, respect is not fear, love has no space for fear.. Understanding we are imperfect, we make mistakes, but we can learn, we can grow otherwise there is not sense even in our basic own existence, life fearing G_d means you have not connected with G_d, but you can, goodness has to flow withing you without the need of fear, once you achieve this you will start to see life from a different perspective, and happiness and peace will come to you naturally, of course not always as suffering for others will be bigger too.. Orli, I agree with many of your points, but from my perspective the O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer) which is God, Even Jesus Christ gave us free will to choose the good and refuse the bad. (Isaiah 7:15) But with free will choice is also present. We are all equal in God's sight, and Jesus reproved us by saying; " But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ." (Mathew 23:8-10) If you would search the scriptures, then you would know that"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. " (Proverbs 9:10) It is not a dirty intimidating fear but a clear understanding that He is the creator, and we are the creature of his making. The Ten Commandments do not disorder the society or the culture, but love builds up and pride puffs up, ergo, the wonderful display of bursting bubbles everywhere. It is a joy and a blessing to be in service to one who always has our best interest at heart, but the choice of servitude is between good and evil. Serving God, or serving our ego's and consequentially disconnecting from our O.E.M.
Do you have any books or suggested protocols in treating Tardive Dyskinesia? I have been suffering from this since 2014 which involves involuntary movements of the trunk. I was a test subject for Neurocrine Biosciences drug Ingrezza which did not work. I then tried Austedo but kept having suicide ideas so this was stopped by me. Amantadine didn't help. I did go to a Neurologist who recommended Gabapentin and Ginko Biloba but these did not help either so I then went on to try every natural remedy I could find online. DBS is an option but I don't want holes drilled in my head. Doctors should treat manic episodes rather than just keep people on these antipsychotics for years. I think Perphenazine was the cause yet my doctor feels it was coming off of Geodon.
Dear Dean B- Dr. Breggin asked me to let you know that he has deep and loving concern for you and all others who are suffering from this dreadful affliction of Tardive Dyskinesia (TD). After reading your comments he immediately started a response to you but it really deserves a column in itself. I am looking forward to that and thank you for responding. The condition is disabling. I was informed it could take as much as 1 year to reach full benefit using Ingrezza which I stopped after 6 weeks. For someone without insurance it's $10k per month and even that drug has lots of scary side effects. I didn't know so many had this condition as my doctor said I was his first patient to develop this. We do the AIMS score test at nearly every visit and he just always says he's so sorry this happened to me.

Understanding we are imperfect, we make mistakes, but we can learn, we can grow otherwise there is not sense even in our basic own existence, life fearing G_d means you have not connected with G_d, but you can, goodness has to flow withing you without the need of fear, once you achieve this you will start to see life from a different perspective, and happiness and peace will come to you naturally, of course not always as suffering for others will be bigger too.. Hope you can free yourself of your slavery, at least reduce it 💌🌹
Orli, I agree with many of your points, but from my perspective the O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer) which is God, Even Jesus Christ gave us free will to choose the good and refuse the bad. (Isaiah 7:15) But with free will choice is also present. We are all equal in God's sight, and Jesus reproved us by saying; " But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ." (Mathew 23:8-10) If you would search the scriptures, then you would know that"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. " (Proverbs 9:10) It is not a dirty intimidating fear but a clear understanding that He is the creator, and we are the creature of his making. The Ten Commandments do not disorder the society or the culture, but love builds up and pride puffs up, ergo, the wonderful display of bursting bubbles everywhere. It is a joy and a blessing to be in service to one who always has our best interest at heart, but the choice of servitude is between good and evil. Serving God, or serving our ego's and consequentially disconnecting from our O.E.M.
Do you have any books or suggested protocols in treating Tardive Dyskinesia? I have been suffering from this since 2014 which involves involuntary movements of the trunk. I was a test subject for Neurocrine Biosciences drug Ingrezza which did not work. I then tried Austedo but kept having suicide ideas so this was stopped by me. Amantadine didn't help. I did go to a Neurologist who recommended Gabapentin and Ginko Biloba but these did not help either so I then went on to try every natural remedy I could find online. DBS is an option but I don't want holes drilled in my head. Doctors should treat manic episodes rather than just keep people on these antipsychotics for years. I think Perphenazine was the cause yet my doctor feels it was coming off of Geodon.

I am looking forward to that and thank you for responding. The condition is disabling. I was informed it could take as much as 1 year to reach full benefit using Ingrezza which I stopped after 6 weeks. For someone without insurance it's $10k per month and even that drug has lots of scary side effects. I didn't know so many had this condition as my doctor said I was his first patient to develop this. We do the AIMS score test at nearly every visit and he just always says he's so sorry this happened to me.
