I’m an older ex nurse, I worked with palliative care patients back in the day. The only medication generally used was morphine. People passed away without pain, and when it was too heir time. In 2020 I cared for my son’s best friend with terminal brain cancer. When he came to live with me he was on narcotic oral pain killers.but as time passed, I was getting ven a list of palliative care drugs they expected me to have in the house- quite a list antipsychotics sedatives etc, I wish I still had the list it was mind boggling. Since they have legalised euthanasia in Victoria, palliative care beds have disappeared, they can mostly only go into aged care or supported accomodation- a place infested with drug and alcoholics often compounded with mental illness. Given the lack of qualified personnel in either place, totally unsuitable. Add to that the TGA has removed palliative care meds from the PBS.

Someone I know has been regularly hospitalised with a chronic condition in Victoria, Australia, during the past 20 years. Hospitals here seem to have become increasingly secretive about the treatment they give to patients. In our experience they have ceased to give meaningful discharge summaries. It can be difficult for a relative or support person to find out what medicines are being given to a patient in what doses.
The person I know was hospitalised in Victoria during Covid, and this called forth all my skills in extracting information about her medications while in hospital. Elderly, and experiencing the rigors of her chronic neurological condition, she was nevertheless put in total isolation. This in itself could be a death sentence. I was not permitted even to enter the hospital, but managed to get her phone delivered to her so we could communicate. By careful use of phone calls to her and to the nurses station, I found out she was being given midazolam - which was a unique event in this person's hospital history either before or since (although she has been given clonazepam). She was unvaccinated when hospitalised for her chronic condition but tested positive for Covid on admission and was being given - as I discovered at the time with some difficulty - a full course of Remdesivir. This was irrational and dangerous in my view, even if it was done according to 'guidelines'. My friend survived unscathed, but it was a dark and difficult period in both our lives.
Nobody should ever go to hospital in Australia without at least one person - preferably a team of several - visting several times each day. The support team should make their presence felt without being obtrusive. They should discreetly monitor their sick friend's condition and take care to find out what treatment is being administered. If anything seems to be going wrong they must respectfully raise this with hospital staff at once. The support team should keep a written record of their observations and especially of medications administered. This should be preserved as part of the patient's personal medical history.
Same here in the 🇺🇸. You never go to the hospital alone.. and if one must go to the ER.. Hospital ..you always make certain to sit there with them on a daily basis .. or spend the night with your loved one or friend.. if you can. I am truly sorry for what you and your dear friend had to endure. I understand completely how hard it is for you because we .. my husband and I we …were caregiver’s for my mother for 18 years. And I am thankful to the dear Lord that He called her home in 2016 .. and that she didn’t have to witness this atrocity and suffer through the horrible experiences that most elderly people .. young and old people had to suffer through …alone …dying in a isolated room with no family or friends… by themselves… with the bloody C-VID b.s. I would have been beside myself if my mother was still in the nursing home or hospital during the Plandemic.. believe me when I say….I would have rescued her from the hospital or nursing home.. This book sounds interesting. I will hope the material it is printed on and with will be non toxic. 4 out of the last 6 books I have purchased came to me so toxic with chemical ink and shiny plastic covered paper that I could not read longer then a few minutes. The last one I am sending back today was from NOLO Press. After 5 minutes reading outside where I hoped the fresh air would alleviate the toxic odor my face and nostrils were burning and my eyes watering so bad I had to give up on getting the information in this form. In the past when producing a five page newsletter we search out printers who used soy ink and non toxic paper. Can be done as I mentioned above, 2 of the new books I purchased in the past few months were not toxic and enjoyable to read.
Printing is using cheaper and cheaper materials to keep costs down and sales up. I suggest looking at getting an e-reader. There are also apps for the phone or PC for e-reading. While I prefer the feel of a book, as well as on the eyes, I've had a Kindle for years that is convenient to take while travelling.
I do lots of work on my computer writing a book series so I avoid more screen time. It seems to me if someone is writing and publishing a book that is geared to help our health and save lives, that taking the time to assure the book itself is not made of poison toxins would be a no brainier. I would guess many writers are not aware of this area of the end product. As mentioned it can still be done, and a little ahead of time planning can make a difference.

I’m an older ex nurse, I worked with palliative care patients back in the day. The only medication generally used was morphine. People passed away without pain, and when it was too heir time. In 2020 I cared for my son’s best friend with terminal brain cancer. When he came to live with me he was on narcotic oral pain killers.but as time passed, I was getting ven a list of palliative care drugs they expected me to have in the house- quite a list antipsychotics sedatives etc, I wish I still had the list it was mind boggling. Since they have legalised euthanasia in Victoria, palliative care beds have disappeared, they can mostly only go into aged care or supported accomodation- a place infested with drug and alcoholics often compounded with mental illness. Given the lack of qualified personnel in either place, totally unsuitable. Add to that the TGA has removed palliative care meds from the PBS.
When people are lumped into being thought of as "masses" instead of precious individuals it becomes easier for bureaucrats of every stripe to be heartless and even cruel. My cousin, Grace Schara, was intentionally murdered at St Elizabeth’s hospital in Appleton WI on October 13, 2021. She was 19 years old and had down syndrome. Her family have taken legal action, and the case is going to court in April of 2025. This could be groundbreaking. It will set a precedent. Her father, Scott Shara, has a Rumble account titled “Deprogramming with Grace’s Dad”. Let’s end the eradication of people considered “inconvenient”!

Someone I know has been regularly hospitalised with a chronic condition in Victoria, Australia, during the past 20 years. Hospitals here seem to have become increasingly secretive about the treatment they give to patients. In our experience they have ceased to give meaningful discharge summaries. It can be difficult for a relative or support person to find out what medicines are being given to a patient in what doses.
The person I know was hospitalised in Victoria during Covid, and this called forth all my skills in extracting information about her medications while in hospital. Elderly, and experiencing the rigors of her chronic neurological condition, she was nevertheless put in total isolation. This in itself could be a death sentence. I was not permitted even to enter the hospital, but managed to get her phone delivered to her so we could communicate. By careful use of phone calls to her and to the nurses station, I found out she was being given midazolam - which was a unique event in this person's hospital history either before or since (although she has been given clonazepam). She was unvaccinated when hospitalised for her chronic condition but tested positive for Covid on admission and was being given - as I discovered at the time with some difficulty - a full course of Remdesivir. This was irrational and dangerous in my view, even if it was done according to 'guidelines'. My friend survived unscathed, but it was a dark and difficult period in both our lives.
Nobody should ever go to hospital in Australia without at least one person - preferably a team of several - visting several times each day. The support team should make their presence felt without being obtrusive. They should discreetly monitor their sick friend's condition and take care to find out what treatment is being administered. If anything seems to be going wrong they must respectfully raise this with hospital staff at once. The support team should keep a written record of their observations and especially of medications administered. This should be preserved as part of the patient's personal medical history.
Same here in the 🇺🇸. You never go to the hospital alone.. and if one must go to the ER.. Hospital ..you always make certain to sit there with them on a daily basis .. or spend the night with your loved one or friend.. if you can. I am truly sorry for what you and your dear friend had to endure. I understand completely how hard it is for you because we .. my husband and I we …were caregiver’s for my mother for 18 years. And I am thankful to the dear Lord that He called her home in 2016 .. and that she didn’t have to witness this atrocity and suffer through the horrible experiences that most elderly people .. young and old people had to suffer through …alone …dying in a isolated room with no family or friends… by themselves… with the bloody C-VID b.s. I would have been beside myself if my mother was still in the nursing home or hospital during the Plandemic.. believe me when I say….I would have rescued her from the hospital or nursing home.. Bless you Stephen Due for being a hero and for being your friends voice …and I know how frustrating it must have been for you and her. God Bless you both. One more thing.. my mother had a stroke … she recovered but she couldn’t live alone anymore… so she moved in with us.. we were happy to have her living with us.. she was such a joy… and later on she had a second stroke ( right side paralysis) and she wasn’t able to speak.. but she could communicate with her eyes.. and sing her favorite hymns .. and she loved my husband dearly her rodeo cowboy/ farmer. This is why I would have been so crazy if it would have happened during the Plandemic.. because she could not speak out …and I would not have been allowed to speak out for her. This book sounds interesting. I will hope the material it is printed on and with will be non toxic. 4 out of the last 6 books I have purchased came to me so toxic with chemical ink and shiny plastic covered paper that I could not read longer then a few minutes. The last one I am sending back today was from NOLO Press. After 5 minutes reading outside where I hoped the fresh air would alleviate the toxic odor my face and nostrils were burning and my eyes watering so bad I had to give up on getting the information in this form. In the past when producing a five page newsletter we search out printers who used soy ink and non toxic paper. Can be done as I mentioned above, 2 of the new books I purchased in the past few months were not toxic and enjoyable to read.
Printing is using cheaper and cheaper materials to keep costs down and sales up. I suggest looking at getting an e-reader. There are also apps for the phone or PC for e-reading. While I prefer the feel of a book, as well as on the eyes, I've had a Kindle for years that is convenient to take while travelling.
I do lots of work on my computer writing a book series so I avoid more screen time. It seems to me if someone is writing and publishing a book that is geared to help our health and save lives, that taking the time to assure the book itself is not made of poison toxins would be a no brainier. I would guess many writers are not aware of this area of the end product. As mentioned it can still be done, and a little ahead of time planning can make a difference.
